Get it on your phone

The Companion is the phone side of Caregiver Baby Hub: today at a glance, a change or a bottle logged in two taps, and the caregiver in your pocket. It is free with your account, on both kinds of phone.

🍎 On iPhone

The Companion installs straight from Safari. It gets its own icon, opens full screen with no browser bar, and can send you notifications. It is not in the App Store and will not be.

  1. Open companion.caregiverbabyhub.com in Safari. It has to be Safari. Chrome and the other browsers on iPhone cannot install it properly.
  2. Tap the Share button, the square with an arrow pointing up, at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Scroll the list and tap Add to Home Screen, then Add in the top corner.
  4. Open it from your Home Screen from now on. Sign in once and it stays signed in.

Notifications need iOS 16.4 or newer, and you turn them on from inside the installed app, not from Safari. If there is no Share button, you are in a different browser. Copy the address into Safari.

📱 On Android

On Android there is a real app: widgets on your home screen and lock screen, NFC stickers you program yourself, and a tile for a Galaxy or Pixel watch. We hand it out here ourselves. It is not on the Play Store.

The Android app arrives with the next big update. This is where you will get it.

Android will ask you to allow apps from this site once. That is normal for anything not from the Play Store. Install over an older copy; you do not need to remove it first. After it is in, the Galaxy Wearable or Pixel Watch app shows the Companion as having a watch app. Wear OS 3 and up. Prefer not to install a file? Open the web one in Chrome and choose Install app from the menu instead.

Any phone, no install. companion.caregiverbabyhub.com works in any browser, signed in with your normal account.
