Vetting a New Caregiver or Little

Questions, pacing, red flags, and first-scene planning for meeting a new ABDL dynamic partner safely.

Written for consenting adults aged 18 and over. This is not medical advice. If something in here touches on your health, talk to a doctor about it rather than a guide on the internet.

Move Slowly on Purpose

Excitement can make a new dynamic feel urgent. Slow vetting protects everyone. A good partner will respect pacing, questions, and boundaries.

Early Questions

Ask about:

  • Experience with ABDL
  • Preferred role and dynamic style
  • Hard limits
  • Sexual vs nonsexual expectations
  • Discipline preferences
  • Communication habits
  • Privacy needs
  • Health considerations
  • Relationship status and availability

Notice whether their answers are thoughtful or evasive.

Red Flags

Be cautious if someone:

  • Pushes for immediate control
  • Dismisses safewords
  • Says real caregivers do not need limits
  • Wants sexual content before trust exists
  • Insults past partners harshly
  • Refuses basic identity or safety conversation
  • Pressures secrecy in a way that isolates you
  • Treats diapers, regression, or submission as permission for anything

One red flag may be a misunderstanding. A pattern is information.

First Scene Planning

Keep the first scene short and low intensity.

Good options:

  • A bedtime call
  • A simple rule for one evening
  • A supervised checklist
  • A short caregiving scene
  • A comfort-focused diaper change only if already negotiated

Avoid intense punishment, long denial, deep regression, messy play, or major sexual elements at the start.

Verify Compatibility

Compatibility is not just attraction. It includes reliability, aftercare style, schedule, privacy, emotional maturity, and how someone responds to "no."
