A rewards system for littles

Structure works better when keeping it is worth something. CaregiverBabyHub turns rules kept and chores done into points, and lets a caregiver stock a reward store the little actually wants to spend them in.

Points

Points come from the things the dynamic already tracks. A rule kept is worth what the rule says it is worth. A chore approved pays out its value. Routines finished, days logged and streaks kept all add to it.

The balance and its full history live on the little's account: what was earned, when, and for what. Nothing is added or removed without a line in the history saying why, so a balance that changed unexpectedly can always be explained.

The reward store

The caregiver stocks a store with rewards and sets a price in points for each. The little browses it, spends their balance, and the redemption goes to the caregiver to fulfil.

Rewards are whatever the two of you decide they are. The app does not supply a moral list of appropriate rewards; it supplies the ledger. There are preset ideas if a blank store is intimidating.

  • An extra bedtime story — 20 points
  • Choose the film on Friday — 40 points
  • A late bedtime on a weekend — 75 points
  • A new stuffie — 250 points

Allowance

Alongside points there is an allowance, if your dynamic uses real money. It tracks what is owed, what has been paid, and what it was spent on, and it sits next to the points balance rather than in a separate app.

Points and allowance are independent. You can use either, both, or neither.

Levels and progress

Underneath the points there is a single progression ladder that runs across the whole platform, so naps logged, chores finished, courses passed and being brave in the community all count towards the same thing.

Levels unlock things. There are also achievements, streaks and a trophy room, and a caregiver can write custom achievements for their own little rather than only using the built-in ones.

The other side of it

Rewards are one half of a system that also has consequences in it, and both are agreed in advance and written down. A rule can carry points, a consequence, both, or neither.

Nothing fires without the dynamic being configured for it, a caregiver can always review before anything is applied, and a safeword stops everything including the AI caregiver. The point of writing consequences down is that they stay predictable, not that they happen more.

Rewarding yourself

A little without a caregiver stocks their own store and holds their own balance. It sounds like it should not work, and for some people it does not, but for a lot of solo littles the ledger is the part that helps: it makes a good week visible.

An AI caregiver can hold the store instead, approve redemptions and decide when something has been earned, if you would rather not be both sides of it.

Common questions

Can the caregiver take points away?
Yes, if the dynamic works that way, and every adjustment is written into the history with a reason. Nothing changes silently.
Do points expire?
No. A balance stays until it is spent or deliberately adjusted.
Can I use real money instead of points?
Yes. The allowance tracker handles real money separately from points, and you can use only that if you prefer.
Is the reward store limited to preset rewards?
No. The presets are only there so nobody has to start from an empty page. Any reward you write yourself works the same way.
Does the rewards system cost anything?
No. Points, the reward store, allowance, levels and achievements are all on the free plan, and no card is asked for.

Try it

Creating a space is free and asks for a pen name, an email and a password. Your real name is never asked for. The tour walks through the app without an account at all.
